Hey, I'm Simeon
I'm a designer who builds, and a developer who thinks in systems.
With a background in Computer Science and a Master's in Informatics (specializing in UX Design and IT Architecture). I sit comfortably at the intersection of how things look, how they work, and how they scale. That combination isn't accidental. It's what lets me move between a Figma file and a React codebase without losing the thread.
My career has taken me through fintech, health tech, e-commerce, and streaming at companies like Spotify and Treyd where I've designed internal tools, merchant-facing products, and design system components used across multiple teams. The common thread across all of it: turning complexity into clarity. I thrive in environments where the answer isn't obvious, and I'm always looking for new ways to solve complex problems.
Right now I'm running Itunu, my own studio in Stockholm, building web and digital solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. It's where I get to take everything I've learned in larger organizations and apply it with more directness, translating complex needs into scalable systems, and exploring how AI-driven workflows, design systems, and low-code tools can accelerate delivery without cutting corners on craft.
Outside client work, I'm building in public. PhdinSweden is a platform I designed and developed from scratch, aggregating PhD and postdoc openings across allSwedish universities and Reseach centers. It's the kind of project that reflects how I think: a real problem, a clean system, built end-to-end.
I'm drawn to problems that are layered, high-stakes, and deeply human. The kind that don't arrive with a clean brief. I bring systems thinking, hands-on prototyping, and a genuine interest in what actually creates lasting impact, not just what ships.
